ACEE Signed Cooperation Framework Agreement with Environmental Protection Bureau of Hong Kong SAR

Vice-Minister of MEP Mr. Pan Yue met with Ms. Wang Qianyi, Executive Secretary of Environmental Bureau and Director General of Environmental Protection Department of Hong Kong SAR.when they exchanged views on topics of common interest in the field of environmental protection. Director General of ACEE Cui Shuhong also attended the meeting.

After the meeting, ACEE and Environmental Bureau of Hong Kong SAR signed the Cooperation Framework Agreement between ACEE and Environmental Bureau of Hong Kong SAR on Enhancing Environmental Impact Appraisal.

According to the agreement, ACEE and Environmental Bureau of Hong Kong SAR will carry out cooperation on environmental license, public participation and environmental litigation by means of establishing regular communication mechanism, co-organizing workshops, trainings, research, consultation and project appraisal etc.
