Vice-Director General Ren Hongyan Made Speech on Green Development and CSR

Invited by China Business Center of National University of Singapore Business School, ACEE Vice-Director General Ren Hongyan made a speech on green development and corporate social responsibility (CSR) at the Forum on Globalization & Transformation of China and Chinese Enterprises held in Beijing on 10 April 2015.

During the speech, Mr. Ren stressed the determination of Chinese government on promoting green development and introduced the measures that have been taken by the government. He pointed out that as the key entity for implementing green development, enterprises should proactively shoulder social responsibility by pushing forward the sustainable economic, social and environmental development. As decision-making and supervision body, the government should regulate, guide and encourage enterprises to do so by establishing CSR regulations, enhancing public participation, and improving relevant mechanisms in order to promote China’s green development.
